Vienna city walks

From St. Stephen’s to the Hofburg

The history of Vienna has been long and varied, beginning when the Roman Empire created a military camp Vindobona in the area covered by Vienna's city centre.
In 1155, Vienna became the capital of Austria. During the reign of the Habsburgs, Vienna became the center of the Holy Roman Empire.
Our tour begins at St. Stephan's Cathedral. We will see the oldest streets of the city, the churches and historic palaces, the most famous hotel in Vienna, the Opera House, Hofburg and the other places of interest.

Starting point: St. Stephen’s Cathedral

How to get there: U-Bahn Stephansplatz + 1 minute walk
