First green leaves appeared on the trees in Prague, sun was shining and more tourists arrived to the city. How they explored it? Some of them just walked around the centre. Others read in their guidebooks.
Did you try Pocket Fennec - GPS Audio city guide?
Have you already visited the new route from Charles bridge to the Prague castle?
See a few shots from it.
Pocket Fennec is not sleeping! We are going to bring you the new portion of routes.
First Fennec's audioguide route in Germany will take you to Dresden. Here you can see a few pics.
In a bundle of current photos you can find Frauenkirche in 1993.
I took that shot in early reconstruction phase of this church.
Frauenkirche was in ruins over 45 years ... Compare it to the renewed church.
Todays Dresden is fantastic city with interesting history.
See you there!
In November I decided to document atmosphere of one fall day in Prague. OK, but how to do it?
People usually don't know, that the sights in Prague are illuminated in strict order, defined by the centuries.
The buildings from 10th century are illuminated first, the younger starts later, with 3 minutes interval.
The video starts during the foggy morning. Later you can see, what was the weather, how the ships are moving around the Charles Bridge and finally there is a big moment, when the sights illumination starts.
Today I know, how to make the time lapse video in better quality, but I cannot repeat the atmosphere ;-).
Go downtown and wait for the evening light show!
Have a nice weekend!
Hi PocketFennec fans!
Can you imagine that you are alone on such place as Prague Castle is?
We borrowed a Ricoh Theta S camera for a test. I expected a sunny morning with blue sky.
The morning started with disappointment, but we had limited time with the camera. Never mind!
So I'll show you slightly different views - Prague Castle with no people.
I hope we will be able to bring sunny mornings later :-)
PS: Use mouse to control the picture ;-)
I went downtown to the concert on Thursday. Later I enjoyed the beautiful evening when I went to the border of Prague Jewish quarter, to the former Monastery of St. Agnes, founded in 13th century. I hadn't camera, just the phone, but it seemed very nice, so I tried vertical panorama shot to keep the atmosphere. The result is really interesting. Look at the picture ...
I think that more nice places with street lamps are in Prague.
Here they are (not all of them, of course! :-) )
