First green leaves appeared on the trees in Prague, sun was shining and more tourists arrived to the city. How they explored it? Some of them just walked around the centre. Others read in their guidebooks.

The year 2017 was announced by Czech Tourism agency as the year of Czech Baroque.
Here is very good opportunity to celebrate as many of these urbanistic jewels are on UNESCO list.
The baroque influenced Czech architecture, visual art, literature, theatre and music and gave rise to sacral buildings as well as palaces and chateaux that changed the fact of Czech towns and villages. Pocket Fennec is going to keep this on focus all year around.
Where to start? Let us go to the northern east Bohemia and introduce you newly reconstructed former baroque spa and hospital Kuks. The interiors and exteriors were decorated with sculptures by Matthias Braun, the most famous of which are the virtues and vices. In the forrest nearby this location is another very unique spot: Braun's nativity scene, set of sculptures so called Bethlehem.
About 40 km from here another genius Christoph Dientzenhofer and his son, Kilian Ignaz expressed their vision into baroque architecture masterpiece – Benedictine monastery with Church of St. Adalbert in Broumov and several churches scattered within this county.
